Preferred Museums (away from the crowd) of the Nicolo Team !
There are around 206 museums in Paris, so we guess you won’t be surprised if we tell you that we didn’t visit all of them. What we know is that for a lot of the major museums you have to queue for long hours…
We do not want to discourage you but rather give you our must-see museums, away from the crowds.. !
The Marmottant-Monet Museum
A real gem nestled in our neighborhood ! This beautiful mansion is often exhibiting beautiful piece of art from the impressionist movement. But the real reason why you are coming to this museum is to discover their incredible collection of Monet, for your eyes only !
The Nissim de Camondo Museum
Well, this is just only a mansion, we call it in French “un hôtel particulier”. But this mansion is, from our point of view, the most incredible in Paris ! Built between 1911 and 1914 by René Sergent, this place is really characteristic of an era and what was best during that period.
The Guimet Museum
What we familiarly call the Musée Guimet is in fact the Internation Museum of Asian Art. You will be dazzled by this very rich and complete collection that makes of this museum a great center of knowledge of arts from Chine to India through Japan and Korea as well as Afghanistan and many other areas ! Busy schedule is coming !
Dali Paris
It’s maybe because it’s hidden from the touristic path, that this museum is away from the crowds. Settled in Montmartre, this museum is worth a visit to discover more about Dali and its work which continues to inspire our society !
